FedEx “Arrived at FedEx Location” — what it actually means

The package checked in at a FedEx facility — often your local one, sometimes a hub along the way. Local arrival usually means delivery within a day or two.

Why packages get stuck here

  • Local facility volume backlog
  • Package misloaded to the wrong trailer (will resurface at another facility)
  • Address correction queue

How long it usually lasts: Usually 1 business day before "Out for Delivery."

What to actually do

  • Good sign — you're close
  • If your local facility shows arrival but nothing for 2+ days, call and ask for the local station
